Journal 6: Reflection on Draft

 

        As I moved from draft one to two I shorten the intro and took out things that were unnecessary. While moving from draft two to three I went more into depth in paragraphs this means I made what was unclear clear I focused on making sure there was a structure. From draft two to three I went through my paper adding the missing pieces and taking out the fluff while also making sure there was a clear purpose and collaboration to each paragraph. Peer review was very important and helped me a lot through this paper I got insight on what could have been written better, what was unclear, and what could be added to make it better understood. I did not decide to take up any comment I used all of them if I thought one was wrong I looked over that piece again and either took out or added something to clarify the point. It enhance my understanding of the topic by reviewing it over and over again which gave be a better idea of the repetition as well as the writing and reading it required. In the beginning I guess I could have been constrained by adapting previous knowledge of what a research paper looks like, but after understanding what was expected I quickly learned that it is more than that, that my input could be used assuring that I had something sustainable to support it. ​
